On April 15th, the Central Confidentiality Office (State Secrets Administration) released the 2023 confidential public welfare promotional video "Secrets Hidden in Photos" to the whole society. The promotional video showcases four common photo scenarios, including "tourist scenery photos," "experimental overtime photos," "meeting minutes photos," and "military vehicle encounter photos," pointing out that seemingly ordinary shots may leak sensitive information such as military locations, experimental data, meeting records, weapons and equipment. The aim is to remind the public that even the slightest mistake in leaking information can happen around us, and advocate for everyone to tighten the string of confidentiality, build a defense line together, and protect the security of our country.
